Talk summary

I was a guest speaker and spoke to an audience of about 300 people about my journey through education and training, and how on-the-job training played a big part of, and kick-started my career within the public sector. I also discussed my background and upbringing both positive and negative aspects, and barriers I faced being a young Indigenous woman, for the purpose of spreading awareness, influencing and informing industry leaders to make better decisions and have a think about the gaps and how to support people with similar background and journey
