My key focus is to create a solid learning culture that rebuilds a life-long love of learning. I believe learning solutions must be relevant, enjoyable and part of what we do rather than something we need to go to. Learning initiatives much be flexible and cater to the needs & wants of the audience.
My role involves partnering with our internal stakeholders and industry bodies to ensure our learning and development strategy meets the current and future needs of the residential construction industry.
The main pillars of my responsibility include leadership development, induction & on-boarding, apprentices, graduates, competency development and on-going professional & personal development.
I have worked in a number of sectors including construction, airlines/aviation, transport, academia & call centres and am highly adaptable and agile.
I love having a blend of both strategic and hands on focus and feel this is where my main strengths are.
