Upon realising that I was never going to fulfill my dream of becoming an elite athlete (I never even made the school team) I set my sights on sneaking through the back door of the sporting world as a Physiotherapist.
For the first 8 years of my career I was fortunate enough to work as a Sports Physio and Clinical Pilates instructor alongside Australia’s leading Sports Physios, Doctors, Psychologists and Surgeons.
My curiosity and enthusiasm for a more integrated approach to wellbeing has since seen me complete additional training in clinical pilates, meditation teaching, persistent pain management, journalism and public speaking.
I’ve worked closely with some cool organisations: top sporting clubs such as the AFL, Athletics Australia, Tennis Australia and Olympic Weightlifting; and more recently in the corporate space with inspiring companies like Boeing, Ralph Lauren, Commonwealth Bank and Westpac.
I truly believe that every single person deserves a chance at living their best life, and so in early 2016 I founded Groundwork, with the aim to bring sports-medicine level care to corporate organisations.
My passion is running fun, inspiring workshops on everything from meditation and sleep science to mindful eating and habit change.
