She believes that flexibility builds resilience and at her core, Amanda believes that when the mind and body are given the right environment, so much can be possible.
In 2013 Amanda, became an accredited Sports Kinesiologist and founded Bend Like Bamboo, her practice and a program designed to optimise resilience and health. She believes that a flexible mindset impacts everything that matters: your body’s ability to repair, how happy and resilient you are and how connected you feel. Amanda specialises in the emotional links to disease and physical stress and autoimmune disorders.
After learning how ethically sourced, nutrient dense whole foods significantly impacted on her recovery, a year later in 2014 Amanda co-founded Nourissh her second start up with VinoMofo, an innovative meals preparation delivery company.
Amanda believes that shifting from the habit of living in a survival state, to calmer and flexible one, is when our obstacles become our opportunities, professionally and personally. When we are calm and engaged, we are more resilient to change, and our performance naturally follows. The Bend Like Bamboo philosophy is explored extensively at Amanda's workshops or keynote's and in her volunteer role as an MS Ambassador for MS Limited.
